ALBANY, NY -- Tech Valley Communications (TVC), the only locally owned, facilities-based Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) in the Tech Valley Region, has announced the following promotion and new hires:
* Amy Witko was promoted to Order Implementation Specialist. She has been employed by TVC for the past four years in the provisioning department.
* Hazel Owens was hired as Accounts Receivable Manager. Prior to joining TVC, she was financial services coordinator at Whitney M. Young Jr. Health Center.
* Alex Bruce was hired as Marketing Coordinator. He recently graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh, where he studied public relations, advertising and marketing. He also served as sales manager for the SUNY Plattsburgh TV station, where he directed media sales and marketing.
* Nathalie Duryea was hired as a Customer Care Representative in the repair department. Before joining TVC, she was a client services assistant at To Life!
* Ashlee Bombard was hired as a Customer Care Representative in the repair department. Previously, she was supervisor/administrative assistant for Data King Corporation.
* Gary Krueger was named Sales Engineer. Previously, he was a sales engineer with Northeast Information Systems.
