Kevin O’Connor, Chief Executive Officer

Kevin O’Connor is the Chief Executive Officer of Tech Valley Communications, a Competitive Local Exchange Carrier located in downtown Albany, providing telecommunications services to businesses and residents throughout the Tech Valley region of New York State. Mr. O’Connor, a co-founder of Tech Valley Communications, joined the company as the CEO in July 2000.

From 1992 to 2000, Mr. O’Connor served as the President of the Center for Economic Growth, a business and government supported economic development organization providing managerial and technical assistance to small and medium-sized businesses. Prior to that Mr. O’Connor worked in New York State Government in various capacities from 1980 to 1992, which included regulatory and staff assignments in the Department of Health, Division of Budget, Governor’s Office and the Department of Economic Development.

Mr. O’Connor holds a Bachelors and Masters degree from the State University of New York at Brockport.

Andrew Ragogna, Chief Financial Officer

Chief Financial Officer of TVC since March of 2006: 25 years of progressively responsible management experience including Treasurer of the Long Island Lighting Company, Chief Financial Officer of the New York State Independent System Operator (NYISO) and Chief Administrative and Compliance Officer of the NYISO.

Brian Kurkowski, Chief Technology Officer

15 years Engineering Design and Large System Operations experience in software and power generation sector. (Nuclear power plant operator, 10 years United States Navy)

Rob Daggett, Chief Business Development Officer

14 years experience in global network design and implementation. Previously Rob worked for MCI and Realtech.

Jim Reynolds, Chief Information Officer

30 years Information Technology, 20 years in Manufacturing and Consulting and 10 years of telephone back office systems software.   20 years experience in IT Management, development and design through production processes. 

Patricia Anderson, Director of Sales

Pat has over 25 years of Sales Management, Regulatory and Product Development experience in the telecommunications industry, managing lifecycle customer relationships and brokering multi-faceted large sales contracts to international carriers, CLECs and CAPs.  Prior to joining Tech Valley Communications Pat was with Verizon Communications.

Rick DeJohn, Director of Operations

Over 15 years experience in the telecom sector and 10+ years of results-oriented, senior management experience in General Management, Sales, Operations and new business development.  He has a strong technical background with demonstrated leadership, organizational, and consulting skills.

Jeffrey Mirel, Director of Marketing & New Product Development

10 years diverse management experience in marketing, sales and business development spanning Industrial/OEM, Arts-and-Entertainment and Non-Profit sectors with emphasis on product/service innovation.
